I was born on my parent's sailboat and grew up on it until age five. I learned to walk on the boat, so according to my mom, as a toddler, I used to lose balance on a steady piece of land. 
 
Being a native to an ever rocking boat, I am comfortable on top of a swaying tree. Maybe this explains my passion for slack-lining.

​At age five, my mom, who also loves plants and has a green thumb, chose to lead a life on this beautiful island called Maui. I grew up playing in the surrounding sea and monkeying around in the jungle.

Besides enjoying the balancing act, I have a love for nature, especially trees and plants. Combining these strong interests of mine, becoming an arborist was only natural.
